  • Nigeria Tourist Visa

    Visa Required

    • Submit your Valid, signed U.S. Passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity and a blank visa page
    • 1 Fully Completed and Signed Visa Application Form.

    Please note that the Consular Fees should NOT be paid online to the Nigerian Embassy, as mentioned on the visa application.

    All Fees should be paid to Ambassador Passport and Visa (by filling out the below Cover Letter) and Forwarded to Ambassador Passport, along with all the visa requirements and documents listed on this webpage.
    Failure to do so may result in significant delays and/or rejection of the visa application.

    • 2 Passport Photographs
    • Copy of round trip ticket or travel itinerary
    • For Non-US Citizens: A copy of Green Card (Alien Registration Card) or proof of Legal Status must also be submitted
    • International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required.
    • Copy of hotel confirmation
    • If invited by or staying with a Nigerian citizen, invitation letter from host, and a copy of inviter’s passport or Nigerian ID card is required.
    • Copy of recent bank statement in your name that indicates sufficient funds for travel.
    • US Citizens who were born in Nigeria are not required to submit an invitation letter, or hotel reservation, or bank statements.
    • For Minors 17 years and under: a letter of consent (for issuance of visa) signed by both parents, along with a copy of both parents is required. The signatures on the letter of consent should match the signatures on the parents respective passports, and the names of the parents should be the same as the names on the minor’s birth certificate. A copy of the minor’s birth certificate is required. In the event that one parent has sole custody of the minor, a copy of the court order is required.

  • Nigeria Business Visa

    Visa Required

    • Submit your Valid, signed U.S. Passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity and a blank visa page

    • Letter of invitation from host company to be visited in Nigeria accepting full financial and immigration responsibility as well as stating purpose of visit.
    • A business letter from your firm on company’s letterhead, addressed to Consulate General of Nigeria. The letter should state all of the following:
      • Name and title of applicant Purpose of trip and contact in Nigeria The nature of business performed in Nigeria Assuming full responsibility for the applicant while in Nigeria and return transportation. The letter should be signed by a company executive other than the applicant.
    • Copy of round trip ticket or travel itinerary
    • For Non-US Citizens: A copy of Green Card (Alien Registration Card or proof of Legal Status must also be submitted
    • International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required.
    • Copy of hotel confirmation

    (1) Consular Fees

    Single Entry or Multiple Entry:

    Regular Processing – 7 to 10 Business Days $295.00
    Rush Processing – 4 to 5 Business Days $396.00

    Note: All consular fees are only payable by money order (which Ambassador Passport can purchase on your behalf.)

    (2) Ambassador Passport and Visa Fees

    Regular Processing – 7 to 10 Business Days $250.00
    Rush Processing – 4 to 5 Business Days $300.00

    Note: There is a $20.00 Service fee to obtain each money orders
    Note: There is a 5% charge for all government and consular fees paid by credit or debit cards.
    Note: The processing times do not include the day the documents are received. The Nigerian Consulate is closed on Fridays.
